We became poets and illustrators during our first week of school.We described summer associations using our five senses, wrote poetry practicing the writing process, searched for synonyms using an online thesaurus, and used our classroom computers to prepare our final copies. Summer is cream
It tastes like freezing watermelon
It smells like spicy rose
Summer reminds me of the salty ocean
And sounds like a big home run hit
Summer feels like the best time of the year
